The rose in the middle of GAUSMANN Coat Of Arms is called \u201cLippische Rose\u201d, which is formerly used by the noblemen in the Lippe province, Westphalia, Germany.<\/p>\n

It is a special sign of the region and resemblance of nobility until today. This symbol was also used as a state sign of the Principality of Lippe in the city of Detmold, thus it is often combined with a royal crown.
